Take a key leadership role reporting to the CEO of the largest private hospital in the region. The highly regarded Calvary Riverina Hospital is part of a national integrated private health care group  that includes 15 hospitals, retirement communities and community care across Australia, and has an annual turnover of $1.2 billion.


 

Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW and a thriving agricultural and business hub within the Riverina region.  The city is located between Sydney and Melbourne and only a two hour drive to Canberra. The Hospital is situated in a large health precinct in the city centre providing a diverse range of acute medical and surgical services to a catchment population of 300,000. Wagga Wagga and the regional area offer a relaxed and affordable lifestyle for professionals seeking a comfortable regional lifestyle.       

   

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, your appointment is critical to the overall planning, development, and control of finances for Calvary’s clinical and business objectives. Using your financial and commercial ability, you will drive initiatives for operational improvement based on strategic analysis and sound acumen.  You will have the opportunity to operate as a true business partner, collaborating with people leaders to achieve strategic business outcomes including clinical excellence; positive culture; financial performance; and growth.

 

 

For this pivotal position you will need experience in a senior finance role in the private/public hospital sector, expertise in financial management and analysis and recognised professional accounting qualifications. Your proven leadership skills and relevant experience across the health sector will enable you to support and develop a diverse team to achieve its best.

Reporting to a capable, skills-based Board that will look to you for strategic advice, you will provide
leadership to a professional and well-regarded management team. You will drive the strategic
plan, manage key relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensure sound clinical standards and
business practices, and deliver quality care for residents.
For this key position you should be a proven CEO who can demonstrate success as an inspiring
leader. Knowledge of the sector is preferable to be able to manage the opportunities and
challenges facing aged care and you will need sound commercial management abilities.
