Leading a small effective team, reporting to the Business Unit Manager and working closely with the Distribution Transformer team, the appointee will have dotted line reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance in Melbourne. Applying sound commercial analytical capability you will provide financial insight to assist with business strategy.  Your prime objective is to enhance the finance function and improve systems and efficiencies via the introduction of best practice. Responsibilities include management of the business unit’s finance and business systems function and the provision of timely and accurate analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting, vital for the formulation of medium and long term corporate strategy. 


CPA/CA qualified, a minimum 6 years experience in an accounting role is required within a relevant FMCG or manufacturing organisation.  You will also possess  a thorough understanding of ERP systems as well as cost analysis & reduction, financial control & reporting to help deliver increased growth, profitability and long term sustainability. Experience in supply chain optimisation is highly desirable.
