Ronald McDonald House Monash (in Clayton) is an iconic not-for-profit organisation that creates the environment of ‘home away from home’ for seriously ill children and their families.  This calm, secure haven provides accommodation in very close proximity to Monash Children’s Hospital, Family Rooms, remote Learning Programs and genuine care. 

This role is unique and rare – a job with real meaning and a sense of purpose that offers the satisfaction of making a tangible difference. Reporting to the Executive Officer, and working in collaboration with enthusiastic colleagues, you will generate funding through corporate sponsorship, trusts and foundations, major gifts for projects and proactively stewarding relationships.  You will be responsible for reporting on development activities, preparing contracts and agreements with sponsors and ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders.

 

You need to have a collegiate style, excellent networking skills and a strong commitment to meeting fundraising targets. A thorough understanding of development and relationships management is essential - this is a role for an experienced person with a solid and proven track record, and at least five years in the sector.

leadership to a professional and well-regarded management team. You will drive the strategic
plan, manage key relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensure sound clinical standards and

For this key position you should be a proven CEO who can demonstrate success as an inspiring
leader. Knowledge of the sector is preferable to be able to manage the opportunities and
challenges facing aged care and you will need sound commercial management abilities.
