As Australia’s national bike riding advocacy organisation and the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, Bicycle Network leads the way in behaviour change programs and large scale events. Together with volunteers and 50,000 members, it’s building a better world for bike riders!


The Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing and brand reputation for Bicycle Network and all of its events and programs. This role is critical in promoting the suite of activities to both members and prospective members whilst positioning Bicycle Network as the key voice of all bike riders nationally.

 Managing a motivated team of 4 people, your success will be measured by:


  • Membership engagement and growth in line with target numbers
  • Increased event participation (Ticket Sales) in line with budget
  • Positive Net Promoter scores across all events
  • Team engagement and staff development
  • Alignment of all marketing activities to the 2020 strategy
  • Promoting and driving an innovative approach.









For this dynamic and engaging opportunity you will need a successful track record in a marketing role, with strengths in strategic planning & market research. You will need the ability to develop business and motivate your people, in an environment that focuses on membership and customer service.

Reporting to a capable, skills-based Board that will look to you for strategic advice, you will provide
leadership to a professional and well-regarded management team. You will drive the strategic
plan, manage key relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensure sound clinical standards and
business practices, and deliver quality care for residents.
For this key position you should be a proven CEO who can demonstrate success as an inspiring
leader. Knowledge of the sector is preferable to be able to manage the opportunities and
challenges facing aged care and you will need sound commercial management abilities.
