Rosemary Bull - Senior Consultant











With 12 years’ experience in higher education (Monash University) and the federal government (Australian Tourist Commission) in roles encompassing research, client service, marketing and management functions, Rosemary developed a breadth of interesting career experience both in Australia and the USA, where she was based for several years with the ATC, until that organisation re-structured.  Rosemary, like many of her colleagues then experienced the effects of retrenchment - a forerunner of what was to happen to many employees from both the government and private sectors throughout the 1990’s.

Returning to Australia, Rosemary moved into Human Resources Consulting (specifically the Executive Search industry) when invited to become inaugural Melbourne Associate with the global Search firm Amrop International.  She established and managed their Research function for four years before joining Ernst & Young Consulting where she learnt internationally accredited consulting methodologies and worked on many diverse assignments including organisational reviews (eg: for M&A’s); change management projects; leadership training; employee performance management systems; and other aspects of HR management as required to service clients’ needs.  During her time with EYC, the firm became the sole national provider of Career Transition Programs for Australia’s dominant telecommunications company and Rosemary became actively involved in delivery and case management of CT Programs to its staff at all levels, comprising individual counselling and guided programs for senior managers, and a suite of interactive one and two-day workshops for operational staff.

For the past ten years, with Dakin Mayers (and its predecessor firms Silverman Dakin & Donington) Rosemary has used her dual expertise in Executive Search and Career Management & Outplacement to work with our broad range of clients.  In both these specialities, the key is to align the specific needs of an organisation with the capabilities, style and aspirations of a quality candidate so that both parties move forward with success.

Rosemary has an Arts degree from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Information Management from RMIT.
